After the long journey from American transfer to either the Oberoi or Taj hotel in Delhi for a two night stay.
Since you will have arrived during the early morning hours in Delhi, relax in your five star hotel for the first day and acclimate yourself to the many time zones in which you have traveled. On day two, take a half day tour of Delhi to see the many sights and sounds of this unique city. Day three,
Transfer to the train station for your train trip to Agra. This is one of the most hectic train stations in the world and a courier will get you through the station and to your seats on the train in what they call "first class". Please, try not to get up from your seat as someone will take your place!!
Upon arrival, transfer to the Oberoi hotel which overlooks the grounds of the TAJ MAHAL.Spend the afternoon enjoying the facilities of the hotel, having tea, and getting ready for a full day of sightseeing.
The next morning after breakfast transfer to the TAJ to begin your private tour of the expansive Taj which has a most romantic story of love. After touring you will enjoy a late lunch at your hotel before touring another important fort that overlooks the Taj, which was purposely built (surprise), and other sights of Agra, then back to the train to Delhi. It's the same comical ride back that one has to take in stride and one which makes many memories.
Upon arrival in Delhi it's straight to the airport and on to Jaipur for more sightseeing in the famed "pink city". This is a photographer's delight and your private guide will show you why this is the most photographed city in India.
After visiting Jaipur it's on to Udaipur, and a marvelous visit to the Lake City for a stay again at the Oberoi. The Oberoi overlooks the focus lake and the Taj Hotel Lake Palace hotel. The view alone is worth a visit. It's a two day visit in in each city before your return to Delhi or perhaps, move on to Mumbai?
